With a professional background in municipal claims and litigation, I bring extensive experience protecting and serving local governments. I worked as a Litigation Specialist and Claims Supervisor, defending and managing claims on behalf of cities, towns, and villages across Florida. This role gave me firsthand knowledge of municipal operations, risk management, fiscal responsibility, and the importance of sound decision-making to protect taxpayers.
Beyond my professional experience, I have dedicated many years to community service. As Vice President of the Dundee Ridge Youth Baseball League, I helped provide local youth with opportunities for sports, mentorship, teamwork, and community connection. As President of the Hispanic Leaders Network, I have worked to unite small businesses, community leaders, and residents—building partnerships that empower families through collaboration, referrals, and shared resources.
Together, my professional expertise and community leadership have equipped me with the experience, integrity, and commitment needed to serve effectively as an elected official—ensuring we move the Town of Lake Hamilton forward while serving all of our residents.
When I’m not serving our community, I cherish spending quality time with my family and traveling together to create lasting memories. My husband and I are adopted parents to 6 of our children, in addition to raising one of my siblings, when God blessed us with our 2 biological boys. One of my greatest joys is watching our sons play basketball—cheering them on from the stands, attending their games, and celebrating their growth both on and off the court. Those moments remind me why I work so hard for our community and the future we’re building for our children.
I will advocate for a business-friendly environment by streamlining processes and strengthening partnerships with local and regional economic leaders. Just as important, we must retain the businesses already invested in Lake Hamilton by listening to their needs, supporting workforce development, and ensuring our town remains a great place to live, work, and invest. I would be an advocate for more commercial development for our town.
We should move forward with growth but only by ensuring that we have the infrastructure and water supply to support it. Responsible growth means planning ahead—not reacting when problems arise. I will advocate for: • Careful review of new development to ensure our water resources can sustain it • Investment in infrastructure improvements to prevent waste and system strain • Strong conservation standards for new construction • Collaboration with regional water authorities to protect our long-term supply • Transparency with residents about how growth impacts our utilities and taxes Growth should never come at the expense of our environment, our taxpayers, or our quality of life.
Building a community center can serve as a powerful hub that strengthens the entire community for residents of all ages. For our youth, we can offer educational programs, extracurricular activities, sports and seniors a place to socialize and connect. A shared space that fosters unity, supports wellness, meeting the needs of the community.
